The sports courts of Tiagua will be named Pedro Ulises Cabrera Díaz, in memory of this neighbor, who died in a traffic accident. Pedro Ulises Cabrera belonged to the C.D. Tinajo squad and became part of the Timbayba folklore group.
This event took place during the festivities of this town in honor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and was attended by the mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, the parents of Pedro Ulises Cabrera, José Cabrera and Luisa Díaz, members of the board of directors of the socio-cultural center and neighbors of the honoree.
This young man, born on August 15, 1971, was always very committed to the entire neighborhood movement of children, young people and adults. Therefore, it has been decided that the sports courts of Tiagua will bear his name as a posthumous tribute.
