The Tinasoria festivities kicked off this Monday with the proclamation by Ismael Montero, who was particularly critical of the "abandonment" suffered by the neighborhood and also of the conditions in which this event had to be held.
According to reports, the Estrella Machín court where the proclamation was read did not have lighting and they had to start the festivities without light. "There were also no chairs for the neighbors," Montero criticizes.
Furthermore, according to him, there was hardly any presence from the Arrecife government group, as only the Councilor for Social Services, Ascensión Toledo, attended. The other municipal representatives who were present were the opposition councilors Joel Delgado and Roberto Herbón, both from the PP.

In Ismael Montero's proclamation, Estrella Machín was remembered, who was president of the Tinasoria neighborhood association and "whom we all remember for her fight in this Tinasoria neighborhood."
Montero, who is president of the Titerroy neighborhood association and was chosen as the speaker for his involvement with the problems of the neighborhoods and for his family ties to Tinasoria, also addressed the young people and encouraged them to continue fighting to have a dignified neighborhood.
