On the afternoon of last Friday, November 14, the presentation of the magazine "El Pajar", Notebook of Canarian Ethnography published by the Pinolere Cultural Project cultural association, took place at the Casa-Museo del Timple in Teguise.

This issue includes part of the "Canarian Festive Imaginary", covering in this first volume a large part of many of the festive representations that are still carried out in our islands.

The presentation ceremony was attended by the Councilor for Culture of the Teguise City Council, Olivia Duque, the director of the Casa-Museo del Timple, Benito Cabrera, and the Official Chronicler of Teguise, Francisco Hernández. Hernández explained that "this magazine includes two important works related to two very representative groups from Lanzarote and unique in the Canary Islands, such as Los Diabletes de Teguise and Los Buches in Arrecife".

Without a doubt, the magazine "El Pajar", which consists of about 165 pages illustrated with hundreds of photos, is a cultural reference where many of the festive events carried out in the Canary Islands are collected, "many of them being unknown by the islanders".
