The showers that have been falling on Lanzarote since Tuesday night are leaving thunder and lightning, but also hail in some areas of the island.
Residents of municipalities such as Yaiza and localities such as Masdache have been surprised by the fall of these small hailstones, which are unusual on the island.
According to the forecasts of the State Meteorological Agency, the rain will continue in the form of storms until the afternoon of this Wednesday. Afterwards, rain is expected to continue at least until Thursday morning, although there are new forecasts of rain for the weekend.
