The natural pool complex of Los Charcones, located in the Lanzarote municipality of Yaiza, has been recognized by the Europa Press news agency as one of "the ten most impressive natural pools in Spain". The agency has prepared this list with the aim of recommending these natural environments to nature lovers as an alternative when it comes to combating high temperatures in summer.
The agency points out that Los Charcones "is one of the most unknown and most beautiful spaces in the Canary Islands" and has highlighted that any visitor to the island can, in this natural space, "dive into turquoise-colored pools of different depths".
Regarding the location, they point out that "the natural pools are located five minutes from the crowded Playa Blanca, two kilometers north of the Pechiguera Lighthouse, on the southwest coast of the island." "Its access is safe, although it is advisable to take extreme precautions during the itinerary that leads to the natural pools," he specifies.
