The other passenger on the flight from Madrid who registered a fever, has tested negative in the PCR test, according to the Ministry of the Government of the Canary Islands. This person's temperature was taken as soon as they landed and they had a fever of 38, so they were tested for Covid-19. The Ministry adds that they no longer have to be isolated.

With respect to the rest of the passengers, the Ministry adds that the obligation to carry out home isolation and health monitoring has been indicated to a total of 14 people (including the positive case) who have been in close contact during the trip. After seven days, they will be given a PCR test to determine if they have been infected.

Finally, the Ministry of Health points out that "the rest of the passengers do not have to undergo any type of isolation, as it is not indicated as they have not had sufficient contact for contagion to occur, according to the protocol established by the General Directorate of Public Health and the Ministry of Health".
