The LanzaEntiende LGTB Association of Lanzarote, in collaboration with the Department of Festivities of the Arrecife City Council, will have an Information Point to prevent and denounce possible actions, comments or behaviors that threaten the Lanzarote LGBT community during the San Ginés festivities in Arrecife.
The Councilor for Festivities of the Arrecife City Council, Nova Kirkpatrick, has shown her support for this solidarity initiative. "From the government group we are working to ensure that all groups can integrate into our society without suffering any type of discrimination and for this reason I want to thank the work of this association from our corporation," she said.-
Likewise, the LanzaEntiende Information Point will offer free condoms and information regarding STI prevention, as well as advice on LGBT matters.
The LanzaEntiende Information Point will be located in the Maritime Park Tent on Friday starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Dj's Party for young people and on Sunday starting at 9:00 p.m. at the Morat Concert on Reducto Beach.
