A large popular barbecue, held on Sunday evening, served as the end point for the La Pardela 2010 festivities, which have taken place in El Golfo, in an excellent atmosphere and with great popular support.

That same day, during the afternoon, one of the most anticipated events by the residents took place, which is the Chalanería, a parade in the style of a pilgrimage in which dozens of people, dressed in typical costumes, paraded from the El Golfo restaurant to the Fairgrounds to the sound of guitars, timples and traditional rhythms. At the conclusion of the Chalanería, the Agrupación Folklórica Rubicón, El Cachorro and Amigos de Valterra troupes took to the stage to delight the numerous public that gathered at the Fairgrounds.

The Pardela 2010 Festivities began to be celebrated last Wednesday, October 27, with the dispute of the envite tournament. Theatrical performances, fun, humor, games, the popular crab race and a varied offer of traditional music were the main ingredients of a program of events designed for the enjoyment of children and adults.
