The haze has started this Sunday afternoon to cause problems at the Lanzarote airport.
Two flights from England had to circle before landing at César Manrique due to the lack of visibility, according to Air Controllers on their Twitter account.
Specifically, they were two planes of the company Jet2, one from the East Midlands and another that came from London Stansted, which had to maneuver in circles because of the reduced visibility due to dust in suspension.
