The gastronomy documentary, "José Andrés & Family in Spain", filmed in Lanzarote will be broadcast at the end of December on the Discovery Plus channel, as reported by the chef himself on his social networks.
The international chef toured various parts of the country accompanied by his three daughters to carry out a documentary report on the best of Spanish cuisine. In the Canary Islands, he only traveled to Lanzarote, where he visited several restaurants to try and learn about the best of Canarian food, such as "El Risco" in Famara, the "Bodega de Santiago" in Yaiza, and "Casa Juan" in Uga. One of the island's products that José Andrés liked the most was the Gambas de La Santa.
During his stay on the island, the chef also enjoyed the culture of the islands, such as Canarian wrestling, and visited the northern wrestling ground "Luis Montero Barreto" to watch the fight between Unión Norte and Tinajo.

In addition to his performance in the kitchen, José Andrés is also known for his great charitable work. He was very active in helping those affected by the La Palma volcano, as well as feeding hundreds of refugees affected by the current war between Ukraine and Russia, among other actions carried out with his NGO "World Central Kitchen", all of which led him to receive the Princess of Asturias Award last year.
Apart from Lanzarote, representing the Canary Islands, the renowned chef was in Andalusia, Asturias, Catalonia, Madrid, and Valencia to taste the most representative flavors of the varied Spanish gastronomy.
