The Civil Guard will receive this Friday, November 4, the Gold Medal of the Teguise City Council on a special day on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Costa Teguise. There will be a program whose highlight will be an institutional act of Honors and Distinctions with the delivery to the Benemérita for the exemplary professionalism and dedication and work done during these last years.
The act will be presided over by the mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, accompanied by Colonel Vicente Reig Basset, head of the Las Palmas Command.
Although the day of activities will begin from 9.30 am, with an exhibition of media showing specialties such as SEPRONA, TEDAX and the Traffic Group, among others, and bring the Institution closer to all citizens in the vicinity of the Civic Center of Costa Teguise, on Fragata Street. Also noteworthy is the conference on the history of the Civil Guard that will take place in the Civic Center of Costa Teguise, from 13 hours, where a photographic exhibition on the history of the Civil Guard in the Canary Islands will also be shown.
