The Pediatric Unit of the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in Lanzarote, attached to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, has had an electric car since the beginning of July to transport the little ones from the Pediatric unit to the operating room. In addition, they can also use it when they have to undergo diagnostic tests.
"The transfer by car, provided to the hospital by the collaborating company Domingo Alonso Group, reduces the stress and anxiety that these situations cause in children," the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands points out.
With this initiative, the Lanzarote Health Area joins similar projects that are already running in other hospitals in the Canary Islands and the Peninsula.
