The bad weather prevailing on the mountain of Teguise with fog, wind and water did not allow the image of Our Lady of Las Nieves to leave the Sanctuary to receive the offerings of the pilgrims. At 6:30 p.m. and presided over by the parish priest of Teguise, Nicanor Bermúdez began the Holy Mass dedicated to the pilgrims. Many people came to the hermitage, filling the capacity, which led many faithful to remain at the door and surrounding areas. The development of the Mass was very participatory in the distribution of the readings and the entire assembly participated in the corresponding songs.
After the Holy Mass and given the inclement weather caused by the intense fog, wind and water, the image of Las Nieves could not leave even to the portico of the Sanctuary to receive the offerings of the pilgrims, which had to be carried out inside. The first to make their offering were the members of the Sabinosa Folk Group (El Hierro), who pleasantly surprised everyone present when they entered to the rhythm of the whistles and powerful drums interpreting the "Dance of the Virgin", also known as "Procession Dance", and where the dancers give themselves completely, thus demonstrating the cultural richness of the island they represent, El Hierro,
Immediately afterwards, the offerings with non-perishable products were presented before the image of Our Lady of Las Nieves located on one side of the Main Altar. After the offerings, the members of the parranda, El Lagar de Teseguite, entered to make their offering to the Blessed Virgin, made into a song with rhythms of folía, malagueña and isa del uno, thus putting the finishing touch to a day where the prevailing bad weather ruined the illusions of all the faithful and pilgrims who with great enthusiasm went up to the mountain to celebrate Las Nieves.
