La Villa is one of the traditional places on the island chosen by hundreds of Lanzarote residents to say goodbye to the year. Party favors, lucky grapes, fireworks and music were the ingredients of the New Year's welcome party in the Plaza de la Constitución or de los Leones. Sintonía Show and Naiyimbe were the orchestras in charge of making all attendees dance until well into the morning.
