Maritime Rescue rescued two boats at dawn near the coasts of Lanzarote, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. They have been transferred to the Commercial Dock of the capital of Lanzarote where they are being attended by the Red Cross.

The first inflatable boat was located at 02:36 this Thursday morning, in which 46 people were traveling, including sub-Saharan and Maghreb people. Among the occupants were 35 men, 8 women and 3 minors.

For its part, the second boat was found two hours later, around 04:15, and had 57 occupants, with 47 men, 9 women and 3 children.

Rescue teams have confirmed that the occupants of both boats were apparently in good health. However, six people have been transferred to the hospital for different pathologies, as reported by the Red Cross.

With these two boats, there are already 4 boats that have reached Lanzarote so far this week, after the one that arrived by its own means to Punta Mujeres this Wednesday, with 37 immigrants inside, and the rescued this Tuesday with 57 people on board. Therefore, a total of 197 migrants have arrived on the Island this week.
