Reyes María Concepción Betancor has been this year's winner of the literary and photographic award 'Lagar y Quesera', presented by the Association of Friends of Wine and Cheese of Lanzarote. The association celebrated the San Andrés festival last Friday at the Nazaret cultural center and, as in previous years, the award was presented during that celebration.
Her poem "I remembered you" made Reyes María Concepción Betancor the winner of the 2015 edition of this award, which the association organizes together with the Canarian foundation José Clavijo y Fajardo. During the event, two runners-up were also awarded, to Luisa Noriega García, for her poem "Blue moonlights", and to Dionisio C. Álvarez Martín, for his poem "Grail of malvasia".

A distinguished 2015 award was also presented to Alberto González Plasencia, "highlighting as merits the numerous awards he has obtained in various competitions as a winemaker, over several years; his collaborative spirit and dedication to whatever the association asks of him, the interest in deepening the knowledge of the varieties of vines existing in Lanzarote and, most importantly, his human values towards all those who request his collaboration and advice", highlight the Friends of Cheese and Wine of Lanzarote.
