Students who have taken the University Access Test (PAU) in the subject of Geography have had to analyze information published by La Voz.
According to what this media has learned, the June call for applications to the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, between the 2024-2025 academic year, has included a text published as a result of the rains of last April 12 on the island.
In that episode of rainfall, where some municipalities received intense and continuous rain, the gavias filled up. These are elements created by the ancient farmers of the island to collect water from the runoff of the ravines when it rained.
Specifically, the students had to answer the theoretical question, which was worth up to 2 points, where they were asked to briefly comment on the information and develop the topic of the gavias.
