Under the motto "We are different, not indifferent. Activists against bullying", a total of 167,265 students and 3,601 teachers from 2,200 educational centers throughout Spain have participated in the contest, the largest mobilization of students working together against bullying. In the Canary Islands, 7,128 students and 145 teachers from 95 educational centers have participated.
Yesterday, the award ceremony was held at the Arenas Internacional School for this educational center in Lanzarote, winner of category A (3rd and 4th grade of primary school) of the 33rd School Contest of the ONCE and its Foundation, in the provincial and regional phases.
The event was attended by Mario Pérez Hernández, Island Director of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands, José Antonio López Mármol, Territorial Delegate of the ONCE in the Canary Islands, Miguel Ángel Déniz Méndez, President of the Territorial Council of the ONCE in the Canary Islands, as well as the director, teachers and colleagues from the school.
