Sixteen years have passed since her rise to fame in the first edition of the Operación Triunfo television contest and Nuria Fergó is still very much alive in the world of entertainment thanks to her talent as a singer and composer and the closeness she transmits with the public that acclaims her, as she demonstrated this Friday at the Remedios Gala of the Yaiza Festivities where she shared the stage with the diva of European dance pop Nalaya Brown, a hurricane of singing and dancing that emptied all her energy in the town square. The Dance Pop ballet of the municipality of Yaiza rounded off the program of the big night of the patron saint celebrations.
Accompanied by her band made up of four musicians, Nuria Fergó performed essential songs from her discography, some closely linked to her time on Operación Triunfo. The public followed the Malaga native's choruses and vibrated above all with 'Bailando bajo la lluvia' (Dancing in the Rain), a 2016 single, quite lively, by the way, which recalled "I composed it in a moment of inspiration, only during a morning and part of the afternoon".
Her fans also accompanied her singing of coplas in Yaiza. The southern public and followers who came from different parts of Lanzarote enjoyed one of the great and recognized voices of the Spanish music scene.
And if Fergó was charming, the beautiful Nalaya Brown had already given samples of her artistic quality and charisma. The Tenerife native manages the stage at will and in Yaiza she was quick to get off it to interact closer to the audience, touring the square without stopping singing and dancing. Nalaya performs her catchy repertoire without rest, asks the technicians to release the musical track as soon as possible, making her presentation a living show that captivates. Nalaya announced in Yaiza the imminent premiere of a song with Danny Romero, a sensation of the so-called Latin dance music.
