The Plaza Camilo José Cela, near the Teguise Town Hall, was the stage chosen for the third cultural Thursday of the municipality. At 8:30 p.m. the first musical chords of the New Jazztá Band group began to sound, made up of seven musicians, who also had some invited friends.
The public was able to enjoy a very good musical selection, which was based on bossa nova, ballad or bolero, among others. In addition, the instrumental chords of the violin, saxophone, clarinet, keyboard or guitar sounded, united with the voices of the vocalists.
After the musical evening, the public enjoyed Miren Edurne, a storyteller who, with a lot of fantasy and ingenuity, made the imagination of those present fly, who participated in each of the stories she told.
Another of the public spaces of the historical complex of Teguise that was very lively was the Plaza de San Miguel, also known as Los Leones, next to the church of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. The Guanapay Folklore Association, the Polyphonic Choir and the Citizen Participation group carried out the elaboration of the salt carpets, on the occasion of the Corpus Christi festivity.
