Hola magazine, a world leader in its segment, has chosen Lanzarote, its Tourist Centers and other beautiful places on the island, to carry out the photographic sessions for its Prêt-â-Porter Spring Summer 2011 special.
Under the coordination of Naty Abascal, and with the participation of great international models, Hola dedicates more than 40 pages - including the cover - of its extensive issue to this special edition set in Lanzarote, which stars the top models Nieves Álvarez, Viktorija Bauzyte, Carla Goyanes and Laura Sánchez.
From the Tourist Centers they affirm that the promoter of this initiative is the vice president of the Cabildo and managing director, Ástrid Pérez, who "outlined in the relaunch of the Centers that the high fashion industry, among others, should focus on Lanzarote for its international conventions or launches, thus attracting the so-called meeting tourism, through the use of the endowments of the Centers and the tourist infrastructure of the Island that, together with the upcoming reopening of the Los Jameos auditorium, can ensure that the Island once again hosts events and major launches of international firms dedicated to cosmetics, perfumery or fashion".
This promotional work is integrated into the external projection actions of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of the Cabildo, with which it is also intended to contribute to the tourist promotion of the island, to attract tourists with greater spending capacity. In these actions, in addition to the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, the Lanzarote Tourist Board, the Lanzarote Foreign Promotion Society and Asolan have collaborated in its realization.
The members of the Hola magazine team, and their special luggage with the exclusive designs of the great international fashion creators, traveled to the Island last December to carry out these photographic sessions of the Prêt-â-Porter spring summer 2011 in different spaces of the island.
In addition to the 40 pages within this special, several special reports will be published soon in the international editions of Hola, with the top models Nieves Álvarez, Carla Goyanes, Yolanda McLellan and Viktorija Bauzyte, posing in the tourist attractions of Lanzarote. Thus, the external promotion of the Island will have an important presence in ¡Hola! and its English equivalent ¡Hello! in the coming months, which in addition to Spain and the United Kingdom, are published in another 10 international editions in Russia, the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Turkey, Malaysia, Thailand and Greece.
