Maritime Rescue rescued a boat on Sunday night about 25 miles southwest of Lanzarote, according to the Emergency Consortium.
There were 52 people on board, including 8 women, all of sub-Saharan origin. They were transferred to the Arrecufe Commercial pier where they were attended by the Red Cross.
Three of them were transferred to Molina Orosa for various pathologies.
