The town of Mácher is enjoying these days its festivities in honor of San Pedro. This Wednesday, at 8:30 p.m., the reading of the proclamation was carried out by Marisol Arrocha, a resident of San Bartolomé, but very linked to Mácher for more than 20 years as director of the theater group "Aficionadas de Mácher".

In her proclamation, Marisol Arrocha made a journey from her arrival to the town until today, positively valuing how the town has been developing at all social and cultural levels. Arrocha said she felt very loved by the people of the town, whom she wanted to reciprocate by accepting the invitation as the town crier of these festivities.

The event was attended by the mayor of Tías, José Francisco Hernández, the councilor of festivities Francisco Aparicio and almost all the councilors of the government and opposition group, as well as the former mayor of the municipality, José Juan Cruz Saavedra.

At the end of the reading of the proclamation, Marisol Arrocha was presented with a photographic painting by the mayor, José Francisco Hernández. The neighbor of Mácher and member of the Festival Committee, Genaro Bonilla, presented her with a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of liquor made by hand by a neighbor of the town.

The night closed with the performance of the trio formed by Samuel Suárez, Adrián Niz and Araceli Bravo.
