The 13 candidates who aspire to become Queen and Miss Maneje 2016 have been presented in a Pregala at the Mandala nightclub in Arrecife. An event presented by Ruiz Rodríguez and directed by Oswaldo Cabrera. The candidates after their presentation paraded in cocktail dress, in swimsuit with high jewelry from Mosego and in evening dress in which the first beauties of the contest were selected. Miss Photogenic chosen by the graphic media, Miss Congeniality chosen by the candidates themselves and Miss Popularity chosen by social networks.
Miss Photogenic was for candidate Selena Expósito Gil, Miss Congeniality in Carolina Hernández Arbelo and Miss Popularity was taken by Arima Alonso Martín.
The gala, which has the collaboration of the Department of Festivities of the Arrecife City Council, included the performance of several artists from the Island such as the Extrem-Up ballet, the ballroom dancing couple formed by María and Fernando, who delighted the audience with a salsa and a cha cha cha and the musical performance of Andrea Luzardo, winner of live your voice, Raycelis Zapata and the transformist Lucia Montenegro.
The Queen of the Festivities and Miss Maneje gala will take place next Saturday, November 26 at the Maneje Sociocultural Center. All the young women are Anairis Medina, Aroa Almeida Mesa, Carolina Hernández Corujo, Fabrizia Semenzin, Ania López, Haridian Paez Lemes, Selena Expósito, Ana Patricia López Machín, Arima Yudeica Alonso Martín, Cristina Palomero Hernández, Denisa Paula Popa, María Moya Milanés, Carolina Hernández Arbelo. The organization has advanced that "there will be many surprises".
