The Los Dolores festivities kicked off this Friday with the reading of the proclamation by the daughter of the former councilor of Tinajo, Félix Morales, who died in February at the age of 65. Together with the mayor, Jesús Machín and the councilor of festivities Elisabeth Oliveros. A very emotional proclamation that was held on one of the sides of the Los Dolores hermitage, with which the former Sports councilor in the Tinajo City Council and advisor was honored. In addition, he was vice president of the Tinajo Wrestling Club, a vernacular sport to which he was linked for more than 35 years. Félix Morales, Araceli Morales, Margarita Rodríguez, Rubén Morales and Raquel Morales received at the end of the reading the affectionate applause of all those present. Among the public were the vice president of the Cabildo, José Juan Cruz Saavedra, other Cabildo councilors, mayors of the island, and parliamentarians. Once concluded, the offering was made to the Virgen de Los Dolores. And this year for the first time the murga Los Tabletúos performed some stanzas dedicated to the patron saint.
