Active cases rise to 989 on the island

Lanzarote registers 74 new positive cases of covid in the last 24 hours, as reported by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands. 

Thus, although 63 discharges have also been reported in the last 24 hours, the active cases have already risen to 989, 11 more than in the previous day.

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, Lanzarote has already accumulated 3,006 diagnosed cases, of which 2,004 have overcome the disease and 13 have died. Four of these deaths have occurred in recent days, while the other nine occurred in the first and second wave.

As for the accumulated incidence, it stands this Friday at 364.44 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days and 764.99 in the last 14 days.
