Lanzarote breaks infection record again, with 121 new Covid positives in the last day

Lanzarote has reached 518 active cases and the accumulated incidence has skyrocketed to 279.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days

Lanzarote has once again broken a record of infections, having added 121 new positives in the last day. With this, the island has reached 518 active cases, since no discharge was registered in the last day.

As for the accumulated incidence, it has skyrocketed to 279.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days, remaining the island with the worst data. At 14 days, the accumulated incidence is 365.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

The number of accumulated cases already amounts to 2,131 in Lanzarote, of which nine died and 1,604 overcame the disease. At the Molina Orosa Hospital, the Grafcan platform reflects that there are 17 people admitted, although the Ministry of Health itself confirmed this Wednesday that there were already 21 hospitalized, of which four were in the ICU.
