Lanzarote adds only two positive cases of Covid in the last day

Active cases drop to 78, with four discharges also reported

Lanzarote has added only two positive cases of Covid-19 in the last day, in which four discharges have also been reported. Active cases have thus been reduced again, standing at 78 this Wednesday.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours 204 tests have been carried out on the island, with a figure slightly higher than in previous days.

This Wednesday's data has caused the accumulated incidence to fall again in Lanzarote. It is currently at 24.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days and 52.5 in 14 days.

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,535 cases of Covid have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 4,412 have already overcome the disease and 45 have died.
