Lanzarote has added another 19 positive cases of Covid-19 in the last day, although active cases have dropped to 162. And in the last 24 hours there have also been 22 discharges, so there are three fewer coronavirus patients than the previous day.
Regarding the cumulative incidence, at seven days it has risen by almost six points, standing at 72.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while at 14 days it has risen to 152.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, increasing by nine points compared to the previous day.
The total number of accumulated cases in Lanzarote since the beginning of the pandemic is now 6,049, of which 50 died and 5,838 have overcome the disease.
Regarding the hospital situation, currently there is only one Covid patient admitted to the Molina Orosa plant.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, in the last day 260 Covid tests were carried out on the island by the Canary Islands Health Service, a figure similar to that of the previous day but far from the more than 400 that were carried out on several days of last week.
