Lanzarote has added 13 new positive cases of coronavirus in the last day and is already close to one hundred active cases.
Specifically, there are 99 active cases on the island, all of them in home isolation with symptomatic or mild symptoms.
Regarding the origin of the new positives, the Cabildo points out that the origin of the cases has not yet been determined and that the data in this regard will be provided this Monday. However, until this Saturday, when the island broke a record with 29 new positives in 24 hours reaching 86 active cases, there were already 60 local cases compared to 26 imported ones.
The number of accumulated cases since the beginning of the pandemic in Lanzarote is now 201, of which 80 have been diagnosed in the last week.
