The program, jointly prepared by the Festivities Committee and the Tías Town Council, on the occasion of the celebration of the San José Obrero Festivities in La Asomada, will experience one of its most outstanding events starting at 9 pm this Saturday with the celebration of the VI Folkloric Encounter "Montaña de Gaida". The event will take place in the Sociocultural Center, where the Guajime Folkloric Group, the "Guágaro" Musical Cultural Association, and the "Gurfines son los del Pueblo" Parranda will participate.
The same place was the stage on Thursday night for the proclamation offered by José Domingo Robayna, a resident linked to La Asomada for decades, who reviewed the history of the town, highlighting above all the capacity of its land to produce good grapes and with them good wines.
In addition to the performance of the Anmy Rodríguez Municipal School of Latin Dances, which will take place at 9 pm this Friday, or sports events throughout the weekend, the staging of the play "Ay la Virgen" on Sunday the 29th at the same time stands out, by the Entre amigos de Yaiza group.
For Monday the 30th, a Canarian Festival is scheduled at 8 pm, the awards ceremony for the championships, and a dance enlivened by the Trío Los Conejeros. On Tuesday the 1st, at 6:30 pm, there will be a religious service and procession in honor of San José Obrero, and at 8:30 pm, a grand gala with the performance of the dancers Tatiana and Rubén (European champions of retro waltz and tango), the Ricoras Show, and the performance of the singers Tere and Sarabel Díaz. All this in the Sociocultural Center.
