The Haría City Council regrets the death of José César Feo Feo, a native of Máguez and former councilor of the municipality for several terms, specifically between 1991 and 2003, where he held the areas of Education, Environment and Mobile Park, among others.

A teacher by profession, during his political career he made clear his involvement with the municipality, for which he worked to promote its economic and social development, as well as to improve the quality of life of its residents.

José César Feo was also president of the Democratic Center of Máguez from 1983 to 1988 and town crier of the Santa Bárbara de Máguez festivities in 2012, as well as an active member of the Association of Friends of Wine and Cheese of Lanzarote.

The northern Consistory conveys its condolences to the family and friends in such a sad moment and expresses its regret at the loss of a person who played an important role in the history of the municipality.
