Jorge Drexler comes to Lanzarote in concert this Friday and Saturday and although he does not know the Cueva de los Verdes, the place where he will offer his performance, he has expressed that he is "very excited" to offer a concert in "the longest volcanic cave in the world" and has said he is "impatient to go and see it" in the rehearsals prior to the concert.
Drexler comes to the island of volcanoes to present his new album "12 segundos de oscuridad" recorded in Madrid. A work that has made him worthy of an extensive and award-winning discography, among which the song "Al otro lado del Río" from the album ECO2 stands out, with which he reached the [Oscar->http://oscars-awards.com] for the best original song and soundtrack for Walter Salles' film "The Motorcycle Diaries". In addition, the album contains collaborations from Leonor Watling and Kevin Johansen on backing vocals, and a duet with Maria Rita on the song "Soledad". This album has been released practically all over the world between September 2006 and February 2007
Tickets cost 30 euros and are sold at the Tourist Centers Offices; Tourism Board; CIC El Almacén; and the Tourist Information Offices of Costa Teguise, Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen and Teguise.
