The Ministry of Health has not registered positive cases of monkeypox in the Canary Islands in the last day, but has notified three new suspected cases, two of them in Lanzarote.
The island has had only one positive case so far, and the rest of the suspected cases had been ruled out.
Since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert there have been 151 confirmed cases in the archipelago, of which 88 were detected in Gran Canaria, 57 in Tenerife, four in Fuerteventura, one in La Palma and one in Lanzarote.
In addition to the three new suspects notified this Wednesday, there are three others that are still awaiting the result of the analysis.
