A woman was found lifeless on Saturday afternoon in a home located on Chile street in Arrecife, according to the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
The events took place around 8:15 PM, when Consortium personnel were requested by the Local Police to proceed with opening a residence, after the person residing in the property had not shown signs of life for several days.
Once at the scene, emergency services confirmed that the only possible access was through the main door, so they were forced to force the lock to enter the home.
After entering, Local Police officers located the deceased woman.
Upon completion of the intervention, Consortium personnel installed a new lock cylinder on the door and handed over the keys to the Local Police, who were responsible for contacting the property owner to give them the keys.
