Lanzarote currently has no suspected cases of monkeypox, after the Health Department ruled out the last one that was still under study. Thus, the island maintains only one positive case so far, as the rest of the tests carried out have been negative.
As for the Canary Islands as a whole, this Friday it has added three more cases and already accumulates 147, of which 86 were detected in Gran Canaria, 55 in Tenerife, four in Fuerteventura, one in La Palma and another in Lanzarote.
In the last day, another suspected case has also been added in the archipelago, although in total there are only two, both in Tenerife, after the rest have been ruled out.
