The public company Cartográfica de Canarias (Grafcan) has updated the planning service of Lanzarote in its web viewer. Thus, citizens can consult updated information on the standardization or systematization of planning both in urban land and natural spaces free of charge.

This update has been carried out after the rectification of incidents that were found in the validation processes. The new version of the Lanzarote planning includes new modification or development plans and a link for each planning to the detailed list of the systematized and published documents within the service. In this way, it includes the final approvals of planning procedures of the seven municipalities of the Island: Arrecife, Haría, San Bartolomé, Teguise, Tías, Tinajo and Yaiza.

It also includes the final planning approvals of 11 natural spaces. The list indicates those corresponding to the Timanfaya National Park, Los Islotes Integral Natural Reserve, Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park, natural monuments of La Corona, Los Ajaches, Islote de Halcones and Montañas del Fuego; the protected landscapes of Tenegüime and La Geria; and the sites of scientific interest of Los Jameos and Janubio.

The renewed information can be accessed through the viewer of the Spatial Data Infrastructure of the Canary Islands
-IDECanarias- (http://visor.grafcan.es) in the tab of 'Land Management'. This online service is mainly composed of data related to the areas of management, global uses, categories and subcategories of land, management plans, zoning and classification of land. Grafcan is a company attached to the Ministry of Territorial Policy, Sustainability and Security of the Canary Islands Government, directed by Nieves Lady Barreto.
