She is 19 years old and started singing at the age of 4. Since then, Esther Betancort began training to pursue a dream, to live for and for music, which is now a little closer. The young singer from Lanzarote has been selected to participate in the casting of the second edition of Got Talent, the Telecinco talent show that celebrates its second edition this year.
After sending photos, videos and her latest video clip, the singer learned a few days ago that she had passed the 
screening and that now she will be able to show the jury her talent to be one of the participants in the television contest. When they told her, she became "euphoric", she admitted on Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero. She is "nervous" and at the same time "excited", but that is not preventing her from preparing so that everything goes smoothly on October 2, when she will try to dazzle the jury at the Chamartín station in Madrid.
"Makeup, hairdressing, wardrobe, good presentation...". These are some of the aspects that Esther is already thinking about how to polish in a performance that she prepares in detail. And, despite her youth, this is not the young woman's first participation in a program of these characteristics. She already tried by presenting herself to La Voz. On that first occasion there was no luck, but shortly after she managed to pass to the second phase of 'Tú sí que vales' and, in the Canary Islands, she was third in the Islasvisión Junior 2014 program. In this new challenge, Esther believes that the jury will not be "as hard as the one in Operación Triunfo" and faces it "happily".
While she is making her way in the islands, with a performance scheduled at the Playa Honda festivities this Friday, the 23rd, and other "little things". Although she recognizes that for now it is "costing" her to compose her own songs, Esther already has several producers who prepare her "themes", she explains. Among them are Ledes Díaz, Lupión, who created her song "Fighting to love you" or El Nhoa from Lanzarote, with whom she has also collaborated.
