Lanzarote continues with 17 active cases as there have been no new discharges in the last 24 hours and no positive cases have been registered for the eighth consecutive day. Thus, the island remains with 84 accumulated cases.
The island now has a total of 62 discharges since the beginning of the pandemic and five deaths. Five people remain admitted to the Molina Orosa Hospital, two on the ward and three in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while 12 people are in home isolation.
This Saturday, 17 samples taken on the island were analyzed, 14 of them from new patients, while the rest were repetitions or control tests.
