With great solemnity, the capital of the island celebrated the feast of Corpus Christi. At 12:00 noon this Sunday, the celebration of the Holy Mass began, presided over by the parish priest, Miguel Hernández, and with the three naves of the temple packed with the first benches occupied by the boys and girls who received their First Communion this year.
Once the Holy Mass was over, the Solemn Procession of the Blessed Sacrament exposed in the Sacred Custody carried by the parish priest under Palio took place. The Music Band accompanied the entire route with its notes, minutes before the procession ended, the parish priest went to the altar installed in the Plaza de Las Palmas and deposited the Sacred Custody in it together with the parishioners who prayed a prayer.
