Daily cases of Covid-19 have registered an increase this Wednesday, with 16 positives reported in 24 hours. The figure is the highest since September, although last week there was already a day with 14 positives.
As for active cases, they have risen to 67, eleven more than the previous day, since in the last hours 5 discharges have also been reported.
In total, 210 tests were carried out on the island on Tuesday by the Canary Islands Health Service, compared to 134 on All Saints' Monday. However, it is still far from those that had been carried out before the bridge.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 7,119 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 7,001 have already overcome the disease and 52 have died.
