With almost 30 degrees of temperature and past half past five in the afternoon, the Diabletes de Teguise and their bells opened the route of the Great Carnival Parade on Avenida de Las Palmeras in Costa Teguise. After them, a multicolored snake formed by thousands of masquerades, floats, murgas, batucadas and comparsas.

Well-known characters from all over the world met at the Costa Teguise Parade, Donald Trump, Fidel Castro, Mickey Mouse, Mary Poppins, the entire Paw Patrol and even beings from other planets. Nobody wanted to miss this Carnival event that is consolidated every year and that attracts thousands of Lanzarote residents and tourists to the tourist town of the municipality of Teguise.

13 murgas, 4 batucadas, 2 comparsas, 5 carnival groups and 18 floats participated in the parade, including that of the Children's Queen and the Drag Queens, who paraded along with thousands of masquerades to the sound of carnival music from the vicinity of the Sands Beach Resort to the Pueblo Marinero.

As pointed out by the Councilor for Culture and Festivities, Olivia Duque, "the Parade has become a benchmark for the people of Lanzarote and for the tourists who join the party, and they not only enjoy it as an audience. She also valued the organization of the parade and the attitude of the participants that helped to experience a day of great joy and fun in an atmosphere of tranquility."

After finishing the parade route, the party continued at the fair in the car parks of the Nautical Shopping Center, where masquerades and tourists continued to enjoy the Carnival.
