At 9:00 p.m., the last concert of the San Ginés festivities began with Chago Melián performing the song "Patria canaria" by the also Canarian singer and composer Braulio.
It was Melián himself who introduced his fellow travelers in this show, where each one played an important musical role.
Secondly, the timple player and musician Benito Cabrera appeared, accompanied by another great musician, composer, and singer, José Manuel Ramos. The two formed a duo, uniting the timple with the guitar, performing a popular isa that was interrupted by applause from the audience. After it ended, José Manuel Ramos remained alone on stage, performing some themes from his creative collection.
Later, the young singer Alba from Tenerife took the stage, a prodigious voice who, accompanied on guitar by Ramos, broke into a tango, leaving the audience speechless.
The concert progressed to give way to a beautiful song that Chago Melián dedicated to all mothers, both those present and those who are not physically with us, with the song titled "The Hands of My Mother." For this theme, he had the collaboration of Marco, who recited some of the parts, and also the voice of Fran Cano joined in, who, together with Benito, Chago, Alba, and José Manuel, brought the audience to their feet while giving them a warm ovation.
This concert, which brought the musical performances at the San Ginés festivities to an end, was based on two ethnographic works titled "The Emigrant" and "Atlantic that Sings," which Chago Melián, as the creator, has successfully taken around the islands. However, for this occasion, and because it was very costly to move the entire cast that participates in them, only the collaboration of these great musicians and singers could be counted on, who left the audience with a very good taste in their mouths at the fairgrounds. The concert ended with the famous malagueña that Chago shared in a duet with the young Alba.
Little by little, the public left the fairgrounds to find a place where they could enjoy the great fireworks display that filled the city's sky with color. Fireworks that joined with the sea, becoming an authentic painting of colors.
