The Casa Pedro restaurant has responded to the criticism that two British tourists made on social networks about the service they were provided at the restaurant. La Voz has been able to speak with its owner, Pedro Santana, who has clarified his version of what happened. "What the tourist says is a lie," he defends.

The person in charge of the establishment has assured that the man arrived at the restaurant to have lobster for dinner, contrary to what he said on the networks. "He came in asking for a lobster, I told him that I didn't have one and I offered him fresh scarlet shrimp." At which point the man was "totally" in agreement with the option offered by the restaurant and decided to opt for the seafood, according to his version. "He gave me the okey and I put the five scarlet shrimp on him," adds Santana.

Despite not reflecting the price of the product on the menu, it only specifies that it is "according to market", Pedro says that the tourist "was not interested" in knowing the amount of what the dish was going to be. "He didn't ask me the price or anything, the normal thing is to ask." In addition, he relates that during dinner he was enjoying the seafood. "He was happy when he saw them, he was scraping even his whiskers", says the owner.

When the tourist saw the bill and saw the 125 euros, he was not happy and went to complain with the paper in his hand. "He got angry and I had to lower the price," he says. He had to give in to the diner's insistence. "In order not to argue, I gave him back the 20 euros," he says.

Pedro acknowledges that the price is the "correct" one, which is what it usually costs in his restaurant. "I usually charge 30 euros for each scarlet shrimp, and this time I charged them 25," he concludes.
