The 20% of rental housing listings in the province of Las Palmas, formed by Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, lasts less than 24 hours, according to data from Idealista.com.
Nationally they are 15% of the homes. The province of Las Palmas is the tenth in the country where advertised flats last the least.
They last even less in the province of Barcelona (30%), followed by Álava (29%), Teruel (29%), Burgos and Guipúzcoa (27% in both cases).
Above 20% are also found the provinces of Vizcaya, Guadalajara and Huelva (22% in all three), Palencia (21%), Soria and Las Palmas (20% in both cases). In the Community of Madrid the rate remained at 13%.
On the contrary, Cuenca is the only province without express rental (0%), followed by Ávila and Ourense, which share 5%.
By cities, Barcelona and Girona are those with the highest percentage of express rentals, as the 36% of homes rented in both did not even last 24 hours on idealista, while in Vitoria they were 30%.
They are followed by the cities of Lugo (26%), Palma (25%), Cádiz (25%), Guadalajara (25%) and Soria (25%). Above 20% of express rentals are A Coruña (23%), Bilbao (23%), San Sebastián (23%), Burgos (21%) and Palencia (20%).
In the rest of the major markets, the highest incidence of express rental occurs in Seville, with 16% of homes rented in less than 24 hours. They are followed by Valencia and Madrid, which share a rate of 11%, and finally are the cities of Malaga (8%) and Alicante (7%).
Ceuta, Cuenca, Pontevedra and Teruel are the only cities in which this phenomenon did not exist during the fourth quarter, while in Ourense, Ciudad Real and Cáceres it only represented 4%.
