Bad weather has forced the cancellation of all connections between Lanzarote and La Graciosa this Tuesday. No ship of the two shipping companies that connect both islands has been able to leave during this day in which Lanzarote is on yellow alert for strong winds and waves. Both Líneas Marítimas and Biosfera Express hope to return to normal this Wednesday, when the island will no longer be affected by any weather warning.

In the case of Líneas Marítimas Romero, according to its Facebook page, it has also canceled its ships between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. However, Naviera Armas and Fred Olsen have confirmed to La Voz that they have been operating normally on that same route. There have also been no incidents in flights departing or arriving at Lanzarote airport, according to reports from Aena.

From the Security and Emergency Consortium, its manager, Enrique Espinosa, has also stated that, so far, firefighters have not had to intervene due to any incident due to the storm.
