The XVII edition of the 'Home Nativity Scene Contest' of Haría already has winners. After visiting the nine homes of the participants, the jury decided to award this year's first prize to Augusto Montero Dorta. The second place has been for Amanhuy Cabrera Betancor and the third for Domingo Díaz Barrios.
From the City Council they emphasize that the deliberation of the jury was "complicated" to decide on the winners. Among other things, "the originality, the tradition and the creative work" were valued. The Councilor for Culture, José Pérez Dorta, wanted to congratulate the participants and thank "the effort and dedication of the contestants to keep this endearing Christmas tradition alive".
The award ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 26, during the musical show 'Andanzas'.
