The Arrecife City Council and the company ECOMAR ESTUDIO S.C. have signed this Thursday the hiring of the information and management team for the homes in the Valterra and Titerroy neighborhoods that are pending rehabilitation. Thus, a team made up of an architect, a quantity surveyor, an engineer, a lawyer, a social worker and an administrative officer will be responsible for "covering the needs of care and social intervention" of those affected by these 40 homes contemplated by the rehabilitation, regeneration and urban renewal process (ARU).

The amount of this contract amounts to a total of 68,480 euros (including IGIC) for each of the housing lots, 20 in each neighborhood, which makes a total of 136,960 euros. The awarded company, the City Council emphasizes, is obliged to perform the reference service for a period of 20 months from the signing of the contract.

"The purpose of this contract is to cover the needs of care and social intervention of those cohabiting units affected by the rehabilitation process," explains the Consistory in a note. The service, they add, "also covers the management and access to housing, from the strict scope of family, community and cohabitation issues that affect housing, attending to those families that require a social intervention that guarantees the success of the urban operation."

To meet these objectives, the company itself will directly contact the affected people, once the Management Office starts operating.
