The yellow warning for rain and storms changes to an orange warning for this Saturday in Lanzarote, as announced by the State Meteorological Agency this Friday. In addition, Aemet has extended the yellow warning for rain on the island until Sunday.
For this Saturday, the orange warning for rain will be in effect throughout the day in Lanzarote. For Sunday, Aemet has extended the yellow warning from 00:00 hours to 18:00 hours that day. Regarding the entire day, the accumulated rainfall in one hour will be 30 millimeters, which will mainly affect inland areas and eastern slopes during the central hours of the day and in the afternoon.
In addition, the State Meteorological Agency has predicted that on Saturday there may be a risk of storms of between 40 or 70% from 12:00 to 23:59 hours.
