Active cases of coronavirus in Lanzarote drop to 29 as three new discharges occur

The number of accumulated cases remains at 84 as no positive cases have been registered for the fourth consecutive day.

The active cases of coronavirus have been reduced to 29 in Lanzarote as three new patient discharges occurred this Tuesday and no positive cases were registered for the fourth consecutive day. Thus, the number of accumulated cases remains at 84. 

The island now counts a total of 50 discharges since the beginning of the pandemic and five deaths. In the Molina Orosa Hospital there are six people admitted, two on the ward and four in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while in home isolation there are 23 people. 

This Tuesday 121 samples were analyzed, of which 111 were from new patients and the rest were repetitions or controls. In the control tests of patients already diagnosed, one of them tested positive again.
